Every D.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions

As with any DA group, we are fully self-supporting through our own contributions. It is important to stress that dues are not a requirement for DA membership. The only membership requirement for DA is a desire to stop incurring unsecured debt.

However, we have often found it beneficial for our own recovery to contribute to the welfare of the list, financially if our situation allows, or through service, if our financial situation prohibits donations. As the 12th Tool of DA states: Only through service can we give to others what has been so generously given to us. Currently, the monthly expenses for the dontdebt mailing list are approximately $15.00 U.S. a month

Those wishing to contribute directly to the D.A. General Service Office can write a check or money order to DA-GSB and send it to DA-GSB, PO Box 920888, Needham, Mass. 02492-0009.
